Dennis Allen Countryman, the son of Richard and Betty (Wibben) Countryman, was born Nov. 25, 1962, in Buffalo Center. He graduated from Titonka High School in 1981. He then attended and played football for Central College in Pella for one year before returning home to work.
He was married to Robyn Hanson on March 30, 1985. They were married for 32 years and remained great friends. He had various jobs over the years until he eventually started a trucking business with his son, Tony, called AC/DC Liquid Relocators.
He most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, anytime he could. He was definitely their biggest fan. He was always the life of the party with friends and a great storyteller that made people gravitate to him all the time. He will be missed by so many.
Dennis is survived by his children, Katie (Justin) Walk and their three children, Braden, Clayton and Mason of Kanawha; and Tony Countryman and his daughter Karlie of Spencer; his best friend, Robyn Countryman; a sister, Penny (Howard) Peterson of Bennington, Neb.; a brother, Rick Countryman of Macks Creek, Mo.; an aunt, Alice Smith of Virginia Beach, Va.; a niece, nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Lawson in 2017.
Cards and memorials for the family can be sent to Katie’s Salon, P.O. Box 63, Titonka, IA 50480.
