Charles (Chuck) Scott Tindall was born July 12, 1960, in Britt, to Oscar and Sylvia Tindall. Charles attended LuVerne Community School until his sophomore year when his parents moved to Corwith. Charles graduated from Corwith-Wesley Community High School in 1980. He continued his education with classes in butchery at Pipestone Community College and a certificate in bakery and an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Indian Hills Community College. After graduation, Chuck held numerous jobs, including a cook at the Danish Inn, Elk Horn, Nick’s Restaurant, Algona and his own restaurant, the Chuck Wagon Diner, in Corwith. He also worked in the food processing industry at several locations and lastly at a Casey’s in Algona, making pizzas, donuts and providing customer service.
Chuck’s spare time was spent with people. Everyone knew Chuck as a person. He was very caring with everyone and if anyone needed help, they knew they could count on Chuck. He was involved with Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous, which he credited for helping him remain sober for over 15 years. Through AA, Chuck helped many people with the same problems he struggled with. He went to events and spoke of overcoming substance abuse. Additionally, Chuck got excited every year to grow his garden with the goal of producing a tomato larger than last year’s champion. Chuck always maintained a large garden so he could share the bounty with all. Along with gardening, Chuck enjoyed fishing and NASCAR, always with friends. Demonstrating that he always wished to give to others, Chuck was an organ donor.

Chuck is survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Jana) Tindall of Aurora, Ill., and David (Connie) Tindall of Algona; niece, Hannah; nephews, Derek, Dustin (Alicia), Devin and Andrew; great-niece, Stella, as well as many other extended family and friends.
