She got chickenpox
It was 12 years ago when Ali Lallier, now 15, had a kidney transplant. It was just a few weeks ago that she was diagnosed with chickenpox, something that her mother Joni Bishop said would not have happened if Ali had been able to get the normal dosage of vaccinations when she was younger.
"Vaccines are important for someone like Ali," she said. "If other people are vaccinated, the likelihood of contracting the chickenpox is lower and lower."
