Historical photos now line Wesley’s main boulevard

WESLEY—An effort to honor veterans in Wesley is a time-consuming but rewarding endeavor for Tracy and Mandie Studer.

“We feel people don’t understand our history, understand the wars. We want to teach people about our past,” Mandie said. “A lot of the veterans never talked about the war. Conversations are starting. People are researching. It’s unbelievable some of the stories that they come and tell us about. I feel we’ve started a conversation that I think sometimes gets overlooked.”
